Our Background

About Elijah House Malaysia

Welcome to Elijah House Malaysia — a place of healing, restoration, and spiritual growth.

We’re a Christian ministry inspired by the heart of Scripture, especially Malachi 4:5-6 and Matthew 17:11, which call us to restore relationships and bring healing to broken hearts. Our mission is to help people reconnect — with God, with themselves, and with one another.

At Elijah House, we believe that true healing begins when we understand the deeper roots of our struggles. Through prayer ministry and guided teaching, we help individuals:

  • Discover the root causes of emotional and spiritual pain

  • Receive healing from past wounds

  • Take responsibility for personal responses

  • Allow God to work deeply in their hearts

Our training is hands-on and heart-focused.

You’ll learn by watching experienced ministers in small group settings, and then grow by participating yourself.

We offer teachings through live sessions and DVDs featuring John and Paula Sandford — the founders of Elijah House — along with other trained leaders and facilitators.

Whether you're here to learn, to heal, or to grow in your walk with God, we’re glad you’re here.

Let’s journey together toward restoration and wholeness.

Training Prayer Ministers

  • Elijah House (EH) is dedicated to equipping believers to minister to one another through prayer.

  • Founded by John and Paula Sandford, EH’s mission is to raise up prayer ministers within the Body of Christ.

  • Our approach is heart-centered and Spirit-led — not based on formulas or shortcuts.

Outdoors Meeting

How It Works

  • Ministry happens in small group settings.

  • Each group is guided by a trained leader.

  • Skills learned are tools — meant to be used under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

  • The goal is to help students minister effectively in their churches, cell groups, and personal relationships.

Why People Join

We understand that everyone comes with different goals.

Here are some common reasons:

  • To Learn: Many want to gain practical tools for prayer ministry.

  • To Heal: Some seek personal healing from past wounds and bitterness.

  • To Grow: Others come to be ministered to, even if they don’t plan to become ministers.

We believe the most effective prayer ministers are those who have experienced deep healing themselves — because we can’t give what we haven’t received.

Our Heart for You

  • Come with an open mind and heart.

  • Be ready to learn, heal, and grow.

  • We’re all on a journey — and in many ways, we are all wounded healers.
